A B testing: (sometimes called split testing): showing two variation of a web page to a similar audience at the same time, to determine which one gives better conversion rates.

What is A B Testing?

Also known as split testing is a term used to compare the performance of two versions of a web page against each other to see which performs better.

The pages are shown to an even split of a website’s audience and how they react to each variation is tracked. Statistics are taken to record which one performs or converts the best, and like any other competition the one best one is the winner.

It can also be used to compare the performance of apps, email marketing, social media ads and many other forms of marketing.

Why would you used A B testing?

Well planned A B Testing can transform your marketing efforts. Rather than speculation or focus groups it allows you to find out how people really interact with your site.
