- CMYK
- 400gsm silk artboard
- Matt laminated both sides
- Spot UV highlights to one side
- Ram punch with rounded corners
The Solution
- Artwork supplied as Photoshop bitmap files
- Client’s logo re-created as a vector file to ensure the best possible results from print production
- Re-set text as vector for extra sharpness
- Adjust CMYK values to match previous print files
- Add spot UV layer for contrasting gloss highlight on the client’s logo
- Print the cards on thick 400gsm board, add the spot UV layer and then ram punch to give a super smooth finish – none of those annoying ‘nicks’ that you often see with die-stamped print
